Making navigation feel native on mobile

I replaced the mobile hamburger with a bottom tab bar and made the empty match page feel like a starting point instead of a dead end. The core loops became easier to reach: Find, Saved, Match, and Profile.

The mobile hamburger was functional, but it made Wags feel more like a website than a product someone might use repeatedly.

The main loops are Find, Saved, Match, and Profile, so I moved them into a bottom tab bar. It makes the product feel more direct. The actions people return to are always close to the thumb instead of hidden behind a menu.

The tab bar also needed to know when to get out of the way. On detail and quiz surfaces, it steps back so the page can focus. When you return to browsing, it comes back in a way that feels soft instead of jumpy.

On desktop, the account menu became more useful too: profile, settings, retake quiz, and sign out all live in one place.

I also reworked the empty Match state. Instead of landing on a blank-feeling page, people now see a clear invitation to start the quiz, with a peek of the first question. It turns "nothing here" into "here is your next step."
